Sinhagad Road runs south-west from Swargate towards Khadakwasla, and it is one of Pune’s older residential corridors rather than one of its new ones. Schools, colleges, hospitals and daily retail were here before the current wave of towers, which is the opposite of how most Pune suburbs have developed.

Getting Around
Connected on every side
Two things have changed the corridor recently. Pune’s longest double flyover opened along it in September 2025, taking six signals out of the worst stretch. And Pune Metro Line 4 was sanctioned in November 2025 to run from Kharadi to Khadakwasla via Swargate, with six of its stations on this road. One of those is finished and one is not, and this site is careful about the difference.
